Richmond II: Kenseth post-race interview

MATT KENSETH -17-Waste Management Ford Taurus (Finished 3rd)

"We were a little loose off of the corner. Paul had a great race, and I had a great race with Mark and all of those guys. We had about a second- or third-place car on the long run, but we jus couldn't get by Paul. He did a great job, and it was tough to pass on the bottom. I was happy. I haven't raced the Waste Management for a couple of months and the car ran third. It was good."

TALK ABOUT THE FINAL FEW RESTARTS AND TRYING TO PASS MENARD ON THE LOW GROOVE.

"He was up high and the top was a little better. It was kind of tough to pass on the bottom, so if somebody is running the top you have to try to pass them on the bottom and we were just too loose to get it done down there. It was tough to pass, and Paul had a really good car. We were just a little bit quicker; we had a little bit newer tires on than he did. Overall it was a great run. We made a lot of adjustments tonight. We started off our first run terrible and we backed way up and got real tight and was able to fix it and get it halfway decent at the end."
