REMINGTON ARMS RACING PIT CREW TAKES AIM AT UNION 76 / ROCKINGHAM PIT CREW COMPETITION

Rockingham, NC (September 23, 1999) -- Ted Musgrave and the No. 75 Remington Arms Racing pit crew are ready to take their shot at winning the Union 76 / Rockingham Pit Crew Competition at North Carolina Speedway this Saturday.

"The team has been producing excellent pit stops all year," said Musgrave. "The biggest challenge of is competition is to have every aspect of a pit stop go perfect for this one stop. Hopefully, we can have some fun with it and maybe with a little luck we can win this thing. I know my guys can do it. I just hope I don't get stage fright on my part. My guys would never let me live that down"

"The guys and Ted work really well together," said Greg Ely, interim crew chief. "Chemistry is important for any pit crew. The entire pit crew has to work together as a team. Our crew can perform pit stops among the best and this is their chance to prove what they can do."

"I am looking forward to the competition," said Corey Tucker, front tire changer. "All of us on the Winston Cup circuit are very competitive types of people. This competition gives pit crews a chance to have some fun, but just like on raceday, we take it very seriously. We all want to be at the top of the board...Let the games begin!"

The No. 75 Butch Mock Motorsports pit crew did not participate in the competition last year, but the team is ready for the challenge this year.
