Ken Schrader Said... "I have to admit that I'm not a big fan of Sears Point since they reconfigured it. My thoughts are that there were not that many places to pass and they took out two of those places. But as for the Winston Cup Series making two stops at road courses, I enjoy it. It may not be the best for fans to watch, but it is a lot of fun to drive the Sears Point road course."
Ken Schrader's Stats... * Ken Schrader's last trip to Sears Point Raceway resulted in quite a ride for the veteran driver...but not necessarily a ride he wants to take again any time soon. Running in the top 10 with only 19 laps remaining in the 1999 event at Sears Point, Schrader "lost traction" and flipped his race car in turn one. Schrader walked away from the accident and joked that if they could have gotten the car back on its wheels and out of the ditch, he could have finished the race.
