Jerry Nadeau's Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway Driving Guide --

"I think the new aerodynamic rules at Talladega are going to help the cars punch a bigger hole in the air so we are going to be able to pass more. The speeds are going to be about the same, but what NASCAR is trying to do is make it more exciting racing so it's not just a bumper-to-bumper freight train and we can start passing each other.

"It's probably going to be more mentally tough on the drivers. Everybody is going to have to plan all the right moves to pass and then hope they have somebody behind them to help. It's going to be more exciting, I can tell you that. I don't know what the outcome is going to be but from what I've seen in testing, the guy in last place can hang on without any trouble because everyone is punching such a big hole in the air. We have a good MichaelHoligan.com Chevrolet for this race and we're looking forward to trying out the new rules."

Prime Time Online -- Fans can join Nadeau and sponsor Michael Holigan live online Tuesday, Oct. 17 for a chat session on MichaelHoligan.com. They will be taking questions beginning at 7 p.m. (ET). To join Nadeau and Holigan on the Internet, logon to www.MichaelHoligan.com.

Viggy's Dining Guide -- Nadeau's motorcoach driver, John "Viggy" Vignona, is a self-proclaimed connoisseur of the restaurants near each of the NASCAR Winston Cup Series tracks. The Long Island, N.Y., native has three recommendations in the Talladega area.

"There are three places," Vignona said. "One's in Hoover (Ala.), over by the mall.

It's called the Fish House, and it's real good. It's kind of funky, but it's definitely four or four-and-a-half steering wheels. There's another fish place off of Highway 421 going toward Gadsden (Ala.). It's called something on the river -- I don't remember exactly what. I think they serve meat, too, but you don't go to a fish house to eat steak. If you've been to Talladega, you know where it is. It's about three steering wheels.

"You can't eat fish the whole time, though. There's a Mexican restaurant called Tres Compadres that's down off of Highway 59 just south of Birmingham (Ala.). It's pretty awesome -- about four-and-a-half wheels."
