Carl Edwards on racing at Texas Motor Speedway:

"Brad and I are having a great series points battle right now. The team is taking the same Fastenal Ford Fusion that has been fast for us at other 1.5 mile tracks. These guys have really been working hard on a lot of different aspects of the team. Hopefully we can come out of Texas with the points lead. I know that Drew and the guys are looking forward to the best."

Crew chief Drew Blickensderfer on racing at Texas Motor Speedway:

"Texas is a fast race track. It takes strong horsepower, good aerodynamics, and a good setup to get around this track fast. It has some bumps and abrasive asphalt that makes for a fun and challenging race. We are taking RK-427 to Texas, where it was last raced at Vegas. Since then we have worked on it hard to prepare it to run up front all afternoon Saturday."

-MAKING HIS MARK...With six consecutive top 10 finishes this season, Edwards is the only driver to have all top 10 finishes so far in 2010. After winning the pole last week, Edwards looks to Texas for his first season Nationwide Series win.
