Fujifilm Team Facts:

* Texas Facts: Casey Mears is heading to Texas for just his third start at the 1.5-mile tri-oval in a NASCAR NEXTEL Cup car. He started sixth in last year's event before capturing a top-10 finish. He qualified 26th in 2003, but ran out of gas and fell three laps down to finish 27th.

* Chassis: Crew chief Jimmy Elledge and the Fujifilm Team will be taking chassis #114 to Texas Motor Speedway for the Samsung/Radio Shack 500. The team raced chassis #114 in Atlanta early this season.

* Mears vs. Green Machine, Round 2: Mears will pilot a green and white No. 41 Fujifilm Dodge this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. Mears finished seventh at last year's spring event at Texas in a similar paint scheme with Fujifilm. Mears didn't experience the same luck in this car when it was painted up green at Atlanta three weeks ago. He was involved in a multi-car incident on lap one of the event.

* Standings: Mears and the No. 41 team jumped up three spots in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup standing to 23rd after their 17th-place finish at Martinsville. Mears now sits just 152 points out of the NASCAR Top 10.

* Testing: Mears and the team spent two days testing at Talladega Superspeedway this week in preparation for the May 1 event.

Casey Mears Quotes:

On Texas... "I like the big, fast tracks like Texas, Charlotte and Atlanta. I would consider Texas one of my favorite tracks on the circuit. It's a lot of fun and the biggest sensation of speed we get anywhere. I heard the guys who went and tested at Texas said it was really, really fast with the new tires. They said they hardly got out of the gas, so it should be a lot of fun.

"Texas is the type of track where this team excels. If there were a race that could turn the start of the season around for us it would be Texas. We survived Martinsville, so now it's time to put together the type of finishes we're capable of."

On Fujifilm... "Fujifilm has been a great sponsor to work with since I started my NEXTEL Cup career," said Mears. "They are extremely supportive of this team and our entire program. Last year we were able to get a top-10 finish for them at Texas, so hopefully we can improve on that and get our first top five of the season. The green car didn't work out too well for me in Atlanta, but this Fujifilm scheme has been good to me."
