* Andretti has seven NEXTEL Cup Series starts at Texas Motor Speedway with a track best starting position of 15th (04/05/98; 03/28/99) and an average start of 28.7. He has one top-15 and two top-20 finishes at the speedway with a track best finish of 12th (04/06/97) and an average finish of 28.0.

* BAM Racing also has seven starts at the 1.5-mile quad-oval with an average start of 33.0 and a track best start of 16th (04/08/07). The team has a track-best finish of 19th (04/04/04) and an average finish of 27.9.

John Andretti on Texas Motor Speedway ... "Texas Motor Speedway is like Atlanta Motor Speedway both of which are two of the fastest racetracks on the circuit. A fast track makes things exciting, especially during qualifying. However, having a good race at Atlanta does not necessarily mean that you will run strong at Texas. There are some pretty big bumps at Texas Motor Speedway that you have to get used to and work around. Texas Motor Speedway is a fun track and this should be an exciting weekend of racing as the season draws to a close."
