Schrader Finishes 30th at Texas
Ken Schrader, driver of the No. 96 DLP HDTV Toyota Camry for Hall of Fame Racing, finished 30th in Sunday's Dickies 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth.
Schrader started 32nd and battled a tight condition throughout the early part of the race. That tight condition, coupled with only two cautions in the first 241 laps, put Schrader two laps down, from which he never recovered.
"We started out too tight and with the long green flag runs, you don't get a lot of pit stops to work on your car," Schrader said. "In the last part of the race, we got the DLP Toyota pretty good, but at that point, it's tough to rally back."
With the 30th-place finish, the No. 96 Hall of Fame Racing remained 39th in the series' owner standings with 2,225 points, 335 markers behind the 35th-place No. 84 entry of Red Bull Racing.
