CHARLOTTE RACE REWIND: In Sunday night's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Camry drivers Kyle Busch (third) and David Reutimann (fifth) finished in the top-five in the 600-mile event. Busch led twice for 36 laps to earn his seventh straight top-10 finish that enabled him to close the gap in the NSCS point standings. He remains in second, trailing leader Kevin Harvick by just 29 points. Reutimann led twice for three laps and notched his third top-10 and second consecutive fifth-place finish of the season. Toyota drivers Denny Hamlin (fifth), Martin Truex Jr. (14th), Joey Logano (18th) and Reutimann (19th) are also in the top-20 in points after 13 of 36 races.

HAMLIN HAS HANDLE: Hamlin returns to Pocono Raceway this weekend looking for his fourth win at the Pennsylvania track. In his 2006 rookie season, Hamlin earned the pole and the win in both NSCS races held at Pocono -- including his first career Cup Series victory. The 29-year-old earned his third win at Pocono last August when he crossed the finish line first after leading 91 laps (of 200) in the rain-delayed race. Hamlin has tallied a total of five top-five and six top-10 finishes in his eight career NSCS starts around the 2.5-mile triangular track. In 2010, Hamlin has earned three wins and five top-five finishes in 13 Cup starts.

KYLE CLAIMS NNS VICTORY: In Saturday afternoon's NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race at Charlotte, Busch overcame a two lap deficit to earn his fifth NNS victory of the season in the 203-lap event. Busch took the lead for the first time on lap 140, after serving a pass-through penalty for speeding on pit road earlier in the race, and led the final 64 circuits. Camry drivers Logano (third), Jason Leffler (seventh) and Reed Sorenson (eighth) also finished in the top-10. The victory enabled Busch to close the gap in the NNS point standings, and now sits just one point behind leader Brad Keselowski. Logano (seventh) and Leffler (ninth) are also in the top-10 in points.

NASHVILLE NEXT FOR NNS: The Nationwide Series will head to Nashville Superspeedway this weekend, where just two months ago five Camry drivers earned top-10 finishes at the 1.33-mile concrete oval -- Sorenson (second), Busch (third), Logano (eighth), Michael Annett (ninth) and Brendan Gaughan (10th). Camry drivers claimed the coveted Gibson guitar first-place trophy at both Nashville races in 2009. Logano started on the outside of the front row in the spring race and led 95 (of 225) laps en route to his first Nashville win. Logano's Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) teammate, Busch, earned his first Gibson guitar in ‘smashing' fashion when he led 173 (of 225) laps after starting from the pole in the June event. Logano and Busch will not compete at Nashville this weekend, with Brad Coleman (No. 18) and Matt DiBenedetto (No. 20) making their season debuts.

TUNDRAS AT TEXAS: Tundra drivers have won seven of the 12 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) races at Texas Motor Speedway since entering the series in 2004. Tundra driver Todd Bodine has the most victories at Texas with five, and also has one pole position. The 2007 fall race was won by former Toyota driver Ted Musgrave. Cup regular and new NCWTS team owner Busch was victorious last November when the NCWTS last visited Texas. Mike Skinner has five NCWTS pole positions at Texas and he also has the best average finishing position (6.1) at the track, including 10 top-10 results in 12 starts.

HOMECOMING: Tundra driver David Starr grew up approximately 275 miles south of Texas Motor Speedway in Houston. Starr currently lives in Flower Mound, about six miles east of the speedway. In 23 NCWTS starts at Texas, Starr has recorded 11 top-10 finishes, including seven top-fives. Starr is also sponsored by privately-owned, San-Antonio-based Zachry.
