NASCAR Fans Mail List

Well as much heat as I caught from the Ford fans.  I went back and 
did a little research.  Here are the things that I found out.

EARNHARDT, WALLACE AND GORDON AMONG 13 HEADING TO JAPAN

Dale Earnhardt, Jeff Gordon and defending race champion Rusty Wallace head a star-studded list of NASCAR Winston Cup series drivers who have committed to participate in the second of a three-race series at the Suzuka Circuitland in Japan. Reigning Winston Cup champion Terry Labonte, Michael Waltrip, Ricky Craven, Ernie Irvan, Mike Skinner, Joe Nemechek, Bobby Hillin, Dale Jarrett and David Green also will head to Japan for the exhibition event which follows the 1997 season. Randy LaJoie, the reigning Busch series champion and current competitor in that NASCAR series, will participate in the event. NASCAR will extend invitations to additional Busch series competitors as well as drivers from the Truck series and the Winston West series to round out the field. Last year's inaugural Suzuka Thunder 100 established a 100-lap format around the 1.4-mile Suzuka road course that is similar to the format used in Busch Clash and Winston Select events. The event is broken into two 50-lap segments, with the field starting in inverted running order for the second half of the event.

The Mail List will be back in operation today hopefully. That means that all of your friends who have signed up should be put online then. I apologize for the inconvience, but mother nature didn't smile on my friends in Cincinatti.
