Who did it better? Danica Patrick vs. Daniel Suarez workout
Anything you can do, I can do better…
Well, maybe.
Clearly the days are over where a driver’s workout routine consisted of 12-ounce curls.
Danica Patrick is well-known for her hard-core conditioning, which features a variety of training programs from yoga to cross fit. And she’s not bashful when it comes to sharing on social media.
But in moment of boredom on Monday, the driver of the No. 10 Stewart-Haas displayed a drill that would challenge the average Joe at the gym.
Twenty-four hours later, Xfinity Series points leader Daniel Suarez posted his own video performing hanging crunches.
On the track, it would be hard to argue with who has the best game. Suarez, 24, has nearly cut his average finish in half since his rookie year. In one season, Suarez’ average finish has improved from 11.7 to 6.6. His average qualifying effort has also improved dramatically from 8.1 to 3.1. While he has yet to win in his sophomore season, Suarez has just one finish out side of the top 10 in seven starts.
In her fourth full season in Sprint Cup, Patrick, 34, has one pole (Daytona, 2013) and six top-10 finishes. Her best finish in Cup was sixth at Atlanta in 2014. Her top result in the standings was 24th last year. In Patrick’s only full year of NXS competition, when finished 10th in 2012.
But when it comes to the bigger gym rat, Patrick certainly has the advantage.
