Kurt Busch, driver of the No. 41 Haas Automation Ford Fusion, took over the top spot on the final lap to win the 59th running of the Daytona 500. This was Busch’s first Daytona 500 victory and his first points-paying win at Daytona. It was also the first Daytona 500 win for Stewart-Haas Racing.
