Brian Scott Makes His Debut With CJM Racing at Bristol
* Bristol marks the first confirmed race for Brian Scott behind the wheel of the No. 11 CJM Racing entry this season
* Scott currently drives the No. 16 Albertson's Toyota Tundra in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) where he is driving his second full-time season in the series
* Heading into Bristol, Scott sits fifth in the NCWTS point standings
* Scott has one win, five top-five and eight top-10 finishes out of 14 races in the NCWTS in 2009
* Friday night will mark his fifth start behind the wheel of a NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) car and his first NNS start at Bristol Motor Speedway
* In four NNS starts, Scott's best finish came at Phoenix International Raceway where he landed 15th
CJM Racing Quick Facts:
* The CJM Racing team was forced eight laps down after a shifter issue in Michigan last weekend. Denny Hamlin brought the No. 11 CARFAX Toyota home in 32nd position
* CJM Racing ran a second car with Justin Lofton at Michigan. The ARCA RE/MAX regular finished 16th in his first ever NNS race. Other races to include: Lowe's, Texas and Homestead.
* RIDEMARKERZ will return as the primary sponsor of the No. 11 at Bristol. They are the first ever car customizing experience for kids 6-106.
* The team will bring chassis # 014 to Bristol. # 014 is a brand new chassis
Driver Brian Scott on Racing the No. 11 Ridemakerz Toyota:
"I'm really excited about getting an opportunity to drive the No. 11 Ridemakerz Toyota for CJM Racing. It's going to be a lot of fun. They have built some strong cars and our goal is to qualify well and keep it up front."
Driver Brian Scott on Bristol Motor Speedway:
"Bristol is an amazing race track. With the history of the track and all the tradition and the incredible support of all the fans it's a track we drivers look forward to going to. Bristol is not the same old rough and tumble, push them out of the way single groove race track. It is famous for its rough and rowdy push them out of the way finishes like you had with Dale Earnhardt. Since they did the changes to the track surface, it allows you more side-by-side racing and you have a chance to come from further back and get to the front."
