THIS IS YOUR SECOND CONSECUTIVE BUSCH SERIES POLE.
"This is awesome. I can't thank Charter and Brad Parrott and everybody. I can't thank them enough. It's so neat to have two poles in two weeks. I don't think of myself as a very good qualifier and they're making me look pretty good. I don't like watching that screen when the last cars are going. We're going to have a good race and I'm excited; I love this place. Hopefully I'll have a good run for Charter."
TALK ABOUT YOUR LAP.
"We got a great draw going out early before the sun came out, and that helped us a lot. Guys like Shane Hmiel, Greg Biffle and Jon Wood were really going to be hard to beat because they were all out there wide open. I just got lucky enough to go early and that was as good of a lap as I could do. I did not lift. My leg was just shaking trying to come off the floor, and it was about as loose as I could stand it. It was just a perfect lap, though. I don't think it could have been any faster for us."
YOU SEEM TO HAVE FOUND THE COMPROMISE NEEDED BETWEEN QUALIFYING AND RACE SETUPS EARLY IN THE SEASON.
"I think the impounding is helping a little bit, and the notes that Brad has and his record keeping is helping a lot at making guesses at changes. I'm just really glad to have Brad on my side. That's helping a ton. We compromised a little bit, but we think it's going to run really well in race trim also. We did compromise just a hair because we figure it's worth it. In a long race you can make enough adjustments throughout the day that it shouldn't hurt it."
