NAVY RACING READY TO BATTLE AT BRISTOL
The Navy Racing team, owned by Dale Earnhardt Jr., tackles the high banked, half mile concrete oval of Bristol Motor Speedway Saturday.
Driver, Mark McFarland, on Bristol:
"I finally get to race on a track that I have some experience. We finished third in the Jr. Motorsports Hooters Pro Cup car at Bristol last year. It was a blast and I can't wait to open up the Navy Busch Series car on this track."
Crew Chief, Rich Hubbs on Bristol:
"This weekend we launch the Navy Racing short-track program. It's race number six of the schedule so we are locked into the starting grid due to the early season success we had in gaining owners points. While it's an advantage to start up front at Bristol, now we can concentrate more on giving Mark a more aggresive race setup on the car rather than having to worry about the qualifying package."
Dale Earnhardt Jr. on Bristol:
"It's time to turn up the heat. We've had a good week in the shop. The Driver, Crew Chief and Engineers are communicating well and I'm proud of how they have worked their game plan to put us in a good position for the next phase of the program."
