Indianapolis, IN- Rick Crawford and the #14 Milwaukee Electric Tool Ford appears to be back on track by finishing in sixth place at the Ford Powerstroke 200. The Friday night race was filled with bumping and banging. The Indianapolis race proved exciting. It was so action packed that the near capacity crowd rarely used the seats they paid for.

The #14 Milwaukee Electric Tool Ford started the race in sixth place after Friday afternoon's qualifying effort. "The #14 Ford had a new engine under the hood this week. Ernie Elliott has come on board and he gave us a motor that could run with the competition," stated Rick Crawford. In fact, Crawford was able to pass the competition in the turns as well as the front and backstretches. However, later in the race the truck got loose after the pit stop on lap 116. It was all Crawford could do to hang on. The #14 Milwaukee Electric Tool Ford returned to pit lane on the next caution at lap 127. "Ray Stonkus and the Heavy Duty Crew made the right adjustments on the truck to tighten it up. The truck was a real hot rod after that," stated Crawford. Indeed it was. Crawford restarted the race in nineteenth position. When the green flag waved, Crawford was off and running. The #14 Ford reeled in the competition, passing trucks on the inside and out. In no time, Crawford had the Milwaukee Electric Tool Ford back in the top ten.

The only thing that was going to keep Crawford out of victory lane was lack of time. Crawford had the fastest truck on the track, but laps were winding down. "I just needed about 10 to 15 more laps... we were flying. We did not win, but our success was in the points we earned. We moved up to ninth place and with Ernie Elliott motors under the hood, we should keep moving forward. I'm happy for our sponsors, Milwaukee Electric Tool, and Lennox. Mobil 1 has just come on board and with great products like theirs, the team is only getting better," stated Crawford.
