DAVID GREEN Bristol Motor Speedway

On racing at Bristol Motor Speedway..."Racing at Bristol is like putting everything in fast forward ten times," explained Green, driver of the No. 36 Stanley Pontiac. "I grew up racing on short tracks and enjoy racing at Bristol. The fall race is spectacular because it's a night race and the temperature is cooler."

The No. 36 Stanley Pontiac that Green will drive this weekend is named "Shania." It is the same car that has five top-five finishes in five starts, at Watkins Glen, N.Y. (fourth), Milwaukee, Wis. (fourth), Myrtle Beach, S.C. (second), South Boston, Va. (Fourth) and Indianapolis, Ind. (fifth). David Green Fast Fact of the Week... Green has had some good runs at Bristol Motor Speedway. Green started third and won the Goody's 250, in April 1994 and sat on the pole the following April. Out of ten starts at Bristol, Green has had three top-five and six top-ten finishes.

Green will participate in the Food City Family Race Night autograph session on Thursday, August 20 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on State Street in Bristol, Tenn.

"The One Who Ends the Season With The Most Tools Wins" contest hosted by Stanley continues this week.
