DAVE BLANEY TAKES ON THE "MONSTER MILE":

* Dave Blaney and the No. 10 Fan1st.com team are excited to get back to concrete track racing. The last time the team competed on concrete at Nashville Superspeedway, Blaney finished third and teammate Jason Leffler finished fourth. Dover International Speedway presents its own set of challenges but Blaney is hoping for the same success the team had at a similar track back in April.

* A solid 11th place finish at Lowe's Motor Speedway last weekend helped Blaney and the Fan1st.com team reclaim the third position in Busch Series point standings. Blaney took the spot from fellow Toyota driver David Reutimann and now sits 169 points behind second place, Kevin Harvick. Blaney is a distant 592 points behind runaway leader Carl Edwards.

* In Busch Series competition, Blaney has logged 10 starts at the Dover, Delaware 1-mile concrete oval. In those 10 starts, he's finished in the top-10 40% of the time. He's captured three top-10 starts and four top-10 finishes. He also finished in the top-five once in 2000.

BLANEY ON RACING AT DOVER INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY:

"Dover is a unique track. You have to have the right shock package and be able to turn really well in the corners to finish well there. If you can't, it will be a long day! It's only a mile track but it has sweeping turns. You need to be able to turn and stay in the throttle at the same time. Being that it's concrete, grip will also be an issue. We're taking a car that has run well this season and we'll be shooting for another strong finish. We've struggled a little in recent weeks so we're still trying to get back on track. We're trying to get our first win of the season but we also have to race smart to continue moving forward in the point standings."

EQUIPMENT INFORMATION:

The No. 10 Fan1st.com team will compete with chassis #24 in this weekend's Dover 200. This chassis was raced at California where Blaney sat on the pole and finished 10th. It also ran at Atlanta Motor Speedway and Darlington Raceway where Blaney finished 16th and 31st respectively.
