On racing at Dover Downs International Speedway..."I really enjoy racing at Dover," explained Green, driver of the No. 36 Stanley Pontiac. "It's a lot like Bristol, but faster. The track is fun but at the same time it is very challenging with the high banking and the speeds we run there. A lot of drivers have had their first wins at Dover, and I think the Stanley team will have a good shot at going to victory lane."
The No. 36 Stanley Pontiac Green will drive in Dover this weekend is the same car he drove at Darlington Raceway earlier this month and finished 11th. It is also the same car that won at California Speedway and finished third at Las Vegas Motor Speedway during the 1997 season. David Green fast fact of the week...With his return to the NASCAR Busch series, Green has helped advance the Stanley team nine positions to put them in 17th place in the point standings.
