Jon Wood Quotes

On Dover: "While I don't have any experience at Dover in a stock car, I've had three races there in a truck. I've learned enough about the track to know that it's important to maintain track position and to make sure your car drives off the second and fourth corners. I have two Top-10 finishes there in a truck, so you learn real quick the best way to create speed there is to start your run for the straightaway in the middle of the corners."

On the season: "We've had a couple bad races in a row with a mechanical problem at Richmond and a spin at Charlotte that wasn't our fault. You put those things behind you and move on. What you take out of those finishes is the fact we had a Top-10 car at both places. We're a new team and we continue to learn every week, and the first thing you learn is to take the good with the bad."

Crew Chief Jay Guy

On Dover: "This is a tough race for the Busch Series. The concrete has a lot of grip, so everybody really fights hard to get to the bottom groove. You really want to come out of this race with your car in one piece because we're at the front end of a stretch of 16 consecutive racing weekends. That barely gives you enough time to maintain your cars, much less repair them. With no open weekend until the middle of September, the teams that have their cars in order now -- and keep them there -- will come out of this stretch in the best shape."
