EVENT INFORMATION -- Event: NASCAR Busch Series MBNA 200; Time and Date: 1:35 p.m. EDT, Saturday, June 4; Site: Dover International Speedway, Dover, Del. Live Coverage: FX (television) at 1 p.m. EDT and MRN (radio) at 12:30 p.m. EDT; Qualifying: 1:30 p.m. EDT, Friday, June 3, live on SPEED (television).
HARVICK AT DOVER -- Harvick has competed in seven Busch Series races at Dover International Speedway. He has yet to record a win, but he has two poles, one top-five finish and five top-10 finishes.
LAST WEEK AT LOWE'S -- The REESE'S team made another big jump in the NASCAR Busch Series Owners' Points Standings last weekend at Lowe's Motor Speedway. Harvick started the race in the 13th spot and ended up 11th. With this finish the REESE'S Racing team sits 79 points behind leader Carl Edwards' team.
REESE'S AT "THE MONSTER MILE" -- In 2004, the REESE'S Racing team had great success at Dover International Speedway. Kevin Harvick piloted the REESE'S Chevy to two sixth-place finishes.
THE DECK LID -- The REESE'S Racing Chevrolet will sport the Okuma America Corporation logo on the deck lid in Dover. Okuma America Corporation is the United States-based affiliate of Okuma Corporation, a world leader in CNC (Computer Numeric Controls) and machining technology, founded in 1898 in Nagoya, Japan. Okuma has been the official CNC machine manufacturer for Richard Childress Racing since 2000. The Charlotte operation is the headquarters for the manufacturing and training facilities for the North and South American operation.
MILLER TIME -- Brandon Miller will make his fourth start of the season next weekend at Nashville Superspeedway. Miller's first outing at Nashville didn't go has planned when he suffered two flat tires and finished in the 25th spot.
"NASCAR 360" -- Kevin Harvick will make his "NASCAR 360" debut this Friday on FX at 10:30 p.m. EDT. Harvick will be on the show for the next four weeks.
OWNERS' POINTS -- The REESE'S Racing team is second in the Busch Series Owners' Points Standings, separated from the top spot by 79 points.
QUICK QUOTES AND NOTES
Kevin Harvick on avoiding trouble at Dover International Speedway -- "Things happen really fast. There really isn't a lot you can do. But, you can usually tell when something is getting ready to happen in front of you. The real trouble spots are driving in too deep under someone getting in and washing up or getting a bad push or loose off the corners. The track is self-cleaning with all the banking, so it's hard to get out of the way if you are in the groove and it all starts coming down the hill."
On Dover International Speedway -- "It has a roller-coaster sensation going into the corners. You slam down into a hole specially getting into turn one. The holes really make you trail over getting into the corners. Dover is a really fast race track."
* Miller will drive the REESE'S Chevrolet in three consecutive Busch Series events after Dover. His first race will be at Nashville Superspeedway.
* May 17-18 the REESE'S team tested at Kentucky Speedway. Miller drove the car during the test.
* Harvick has never had a DNF (did not finish) at Dover International Speedway.
* Harvick has yet to win a Busch Series pole this season. He has started from the pole twice at Dover International Raceway.
* Harvick's best finish at Dover is a third in June 2001.
