EXPERIENCED DRIVER AND SEASONED CHASSIS SHOULD MAKE FOR A WINNING COMBINATION:

* When Brian Vickers first took to the track in the No.10 Braun Racing Camry at Michigan International Speedway, he was quick to impress. Sitting on the outside pole and leading laps, Vickers had the win in his sights but problems on pit road kept the No.10 from its first victory of 2007. Vickers and the team have high hopes that California Speedway, Michigan's sister track, will provide the redemption they are looking for.

* The No.10 team had success at California Speedway earlier this season. Dave Blaney put the No.10 on the pole, making history capturing the Toyota Camry's first NASCAR pole. This chassis has been raced six times this year, racking up four top-10 starts, including two on the front row, and three top-10 finishes.

* Vickers, the 2003 NASCAR Busch Series Champion, has logged two Busch Series starts at California Speedway. He started sixth and finished 19th in 2003 and started 20th and finished ninth in 2006. He also has seven Nextel Cup starts at the Fontana, California two-mile oval to his credit.

VICKERS ON RACING AT CALIFORNIA SPEEDWAY:

"California (Speedway) should be a good track for us. I didn't run the Busch race in the spring, but our Cup program earned its first top-10 there. We don't have to be as concerned about rain delays out West, but the track conditions vary more this time of year because it's so hot. We'll be practicing during the day, qualifying in the evening, and racing at night, so the ability to adjust to that will be important. It's a high-speed track similar to Michigan in many respects and obviously, our Braun Racing Toyota was strong there. If we can get our No.10 Camry as competitive this weekend, there's no reason we shouldn't expect to be up front."

EQUIPMENT INFORMATION:

The No. 10 Ft. McDowell Resort Destination team will compete with chassis #24 in Saturday night's Camping World 300. This is the same chassis Dave Blaney raced at California, Atlanta, Darlington, Dover, and Chicago where he finished in the top-15 twice. Vickers raced #24 at Michigan International Speedway where he started second and finished sixth.
