Faggart Returns to Team Rent-A-Wreck for Milwaukee Robby Faggart returns to drive the #49 Rent-A-Wreck Pontiac at the Milwaukee Mile this weekend after missing the last two races with the team. Team Rent-A-Wreck instead used Phil Bonifield in Dover and Dick Trickle two weeks ago in Kentucky.

With Rent-A-Wreck signed on as primary sponsor of the team for the remainder of the year, Faggart and the entire crew with Jay Robinson Racing look to really improve upon their finishes of late. "We have had a lot of problems with our engine the last few weeks. We are just a little bit off in the horsepower department, but we know that it takes a long time to get an engine program up to speed. The cars have been great as far as handling and aerodynamics. If we can just get the engines to run a little stronger and last longer, we will end up pretty good by the end of the season," said Faggart.

Team Rent-A-Wreck will take the Pontiac used earlier in the season at Nazareth. Faggart qualified the car in 31st, and battled up to 24th before the engine blew and put the team out of the race in 33rd. "We had a good car at Nazareth, and we were really starting to move up through the field. The engine just could not hold on those last fifty laps or so," remarked Faggart. "I have never been to Milwaukee, but it is a one-mile track like New Hampshire. We qualified on time there but, again, the engine let go on us. I think we will have a good run if we can just keep the engine running."

The team has had nine different drivers in 16 races so far this season, six of which were with Robby Faggart behind the wheel. "I told Jay that I would stay with them and take it week by week. I appreciate the opportunity they have given me here, and I will just hang in there until things get better. If we can solve this problem we have under the hood, we can really finish out the season on a strong note," said Faggart. "I just want everyone to know that I am whole-heartedly dedicated to Jay and this Rent-A- Wreck team, and my goal is to do what I can to make this situation work. Jay has told me that I will most likely be the driver for the rest of the year. We will get better soon, and I think good things are just around the corner for us."

The GNC Live Well 250 from the Milwaukee Mile will air this Sunday at 1:00 p.m. with FX and MRN Radio broadcasting the event.
