Kyle Busch will be seeking to make up some championship points this weekend on Martin Truex, Jr. and he looks in fine position to do it, as he will take the green flag for the Bahas' Supermarkets 200 from the pole. This is Busch's fifth pole of the season.

"This feels great," said Busch. "I was so disappointed in our run last weekend; this really makes me feel good. I can't wait for the race this weekend."

Currently Busch trails Truex by 176 points in the hunt for the Busch Series title. Truex, the series leader, will start eighth.

"It's not where we would have liked to start," said Truex. "But we are pretty happy with that, hopefully we can win the race on Saturday."

Greg Biffle joins Busch on the front row. Biffle and Busch were the two fastest cars all day; the duo also paced practice for Busch teams this morning. Biffle sits third in series rankings, but sits a hefty 473 points short of the lead.

"We wanted the pole," said Biffle. "But we'll settle for that. That is a good starting position for us."

Jamie McMurray, Ashton Lewis, Jr. and Johnny Sauter complete the top five. With the Busch series one-two spots pretty much clinched, the rest of the field is just trying to hang on and find a solid place within the top ten to land.

"I look forward to the opportunity to go on stage, and the opportunity to do it with our team," Lewis said. "To finish 10th in points, to know what we had to race against and the resources we had to race against and do as well as we have, I think would be a tremendous accomplishment, especially since it's our last season together. I don't think there could be a better finish to the season."
