Duraflame RWI Racing On Pole For Saturday'S Siemens 200

LOUDON, NH (July 23, 2004)--In his first ever start for Duraflame RWI Racing, Missouri's Jamie McMurray is on the pole for Saturday's Siemens 200 at New Hampshire International Raceway. After placing third in Friday's first practice, McMurray blistered the track with a lap of 29.297 seconds, 130.007 MPH around the 1.058 mile oval. The lap earned McMurray his first career Busch Series pole.

Said McMurray, "This is really cool. This is my first Busch Series pole. I've got a Truck and NEXTEL Cup pole, so this is cool to now have a pole in all three divisions. I want thank everyone at Rusty Wallace Inc. and Duraflame for giving me such a great opportunity. This is a first class organization and I know this is just the beginning of great things for our new partnership."

New Hampshire also marks the first-ever pole for the newly formed Duraflame RWI Racing, following a week of change in its driver lineup. Team owner Rusty Wallace is ecstatic about the team's success.

"I am so proud of all of our guys. They do a heck of a job putting these cars together and Jamie did a great job on that lap. It was an awesome lap for sure. After the incredibly tough decision I had to make this past week with the support of our sponsors, it was nice to just get back racing. It's awesome to come out of the box with a success like this. I really think that's its just the beginning of good things to come for this team," said Wallace.
