Ken Schrader will make his second start in the No. 15 Oakwood Homes Chevrolet this weekend at Michigan Speedway. He ran the Andy Petree Racing Chevrolet at Richmond earlier this year starting fourth and running in the top 10 until an accident ended his day. The Oakwood Homes Chevrolet also competed at Indianapolis Raceway Park with Mike Wallace at the wheel. Wallace started seventh and finished ninth.

Schrader has competed in four of the six NASCAR Busch Series races held at Michigan Speedway. He has tallied three top-10 finishes in those four starts.

"I've enjoyed success at Michigan in the Busch Series running my own car," said Schrader. "I am excited to be running in the Busch Series again and it helps Andy Petree Racing gain knowledge and experience for our Winston Cup program. They are providing me with excellent equipment and good resources and I look forward to a good run at Michigan."

Andy Petree Racing took a new car to Indianapolis and will have another new car for Michigan. They have accumulated three cars throughout this year.

"We've just finished the car for Michigan," said Jeff Swann, crew chief for the Oakwood Homes Chevrolet. "We were unable to test at Michigan because they were making repairs to the fence from the CART race incident. We feel very comfortable with our set-up, taking information from the Winston Cup program and looking at notes from prior runs.

"It makes it easy to go to a track like Michigan with a driver like Schrader, even without testing. We know he has a lot of experience and has run well in a Busch car. We feel real positive about Michigan and are glad he is back in the car."
