STEVE WALLACE AMONG TOP TEN IN FIRST MONTREAL PRACTICE
19 Year-Old Fast in First Laps on the Famed Circuit Gilles Villeneuve

MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA (August 2, 2007)--19 year-old RWI Racing driver Steve Wallace continued to show his natural road racing prowess this morning during his first ever laps on the famed Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Following an impressive performance in his first career road course race, the March event at Mexico City's Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, Wallace posted the ninth fastest time of the morning open practice session at Montreal. His lap of 105.407 seconds (92.521 MPH) was posted on his 12th-and final-lap. Those 12 laps were his first ever on the Montreal circuit.

Leading the morning practice was Champ Car veteran and Montreal native, Patrick Carpentier, followed by Scott Pruett, Boris Said, Ron Fellows and Robby Gordon. Marcos Ambrose, Michael Valiante, Andy Lally, Wallace and Max Papis rounded out the top-ten.
