Race Winner: Tim Fedewa -#33 Kleenex/Bace Motorsports Chevrolet - 2nd NASCAR BGN career victory

“This was just our weekend, our day,: said Tim Fedewa, winner, First Union 200. “Nazareth is such a momentum track, handling is really important. Our car was fast and the crew had the chassis setup right. The Goodyear Tires worked great. With the temperature being cooler today than yesterday, we had to make chassis adjustments to loosen up the car just a little. The Goodyear tires adapted very well to the changes. We changed our tires under yellow to stay on fresh rubber with the other lead cars. Like I said, everything just went our way today. Our first win came here three years ago, now we get our second win here. Goodyear did a job with the tires for this race.”

“Tire wear was as we expected today,” said Jon Gerspacher, spokesman for Goodyear, at the conclusion of the First Union 200. “The slightly cooler temperature made some of the cars tighter than they were in yesterday’s last practice. Based on what we saw in the tires, teams made the proper adjustments prior to the race. We didn’t have any exceptionally long green-flag runs, so in checking the tires coming off the cars, there was no significant wear.
