The Team: #59 Kingsford/Johnsonville Chevrolet, NASCAR Busch Series

The Race: Sunday, May 19, 2002 -- Stacker 2 200 at Nazareth Speedway in Nazareth, Pennsylvania -- 200 laps/200 miles

The Track: Nazareth Speedway joined the NASCAR Busch Series in 1988 and has hosted one race a year every season. The 1-mile D-shaped track is one of the most difficult on the circuit. It has 3 degrees banking in turn 1; 4 degrees in turn 2 and 6 degrees in turns 3 and 4. There is 2.7 degrees banking on the backstretch and 3 degrees on the frontstretch.

TV/Radio: FX 12:00 pm ET / MRN 12:30 pm ET -- Race starts at 1:00 pm ET.

Compton at Nazareth: Compton has visited Nazareth three times as a NASCAR driver in the Craftsman Truck Series. In 1998 he finished in second-place and in 1999 he finished tenth.

Compton on Nazareth: "I love racing at Nazareth! The place seems to fit my driving style and I've run well there in the Truck Series. It's going to be a busy weekend. I'll be practicing and qualifying the Cup car in Charlotte on Friday, then off to Nazareth (PA) for Busch practice and qualifying on Saturday. I have to be back in Charlotte for The Winston on Saturday and then return to Nazareth on Sunday for the Busch race."

Compton's Season: With 11 races completed, Compton is 8th in the point standings. He has two top-5 finishes and five top-10 finishes.

Crew Chief's Comments: "We will be taking the car we ran at Darlington, Homestead and Vegas. Stacy runs good at Nazareth and will be very competitive. Once again, we need to keep the fenders on (unlike last weekend) and we'll be there at the end."

Last Year at Nazareth: Greg Biffle won last year's race at Nazareth Speedway with an 8.574 second margin of victory over Kevin Harvick. The Bud Pole Award went to Tony Raines. The race had three cautions for 21of the 200-lap event. There were eight lead changes among seven drivers.

Double Duty: In addition to his Busch Series ride, Compton is also running the full NASCAR Winston Cup Series schedule in the No. 14 Conseco Pontiac owned by A.J. Foyt Racing. The Winston Cup Series had last weekend off and resumes racing at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte, North Carolina on May 18th.
