BUSCH: St. Louis: Dave Blaney preview

DAVE BLANEY GIVES UP A CHANCE FOR REST AND RELAXATION AND HEADS TO GATEWAY:

* The Nextel Cup Series may be enjoying a weekend off this week but there's no break in the action for Dave Blaney. Choosing to run a full schedule in both Nextel Cup and Busch Series competition in 2007, Dave Blaney won't have a weekend to relax until Thanksgiving. He seems to enjoy the grueling schedule and is looking forward to spending this weekend in the Midwest at a track he's had success at every time he's competed there. Perhaps this will be the weekend Blaney and the team can cross over into the win column.

* Although he hasn't raced at Gateway International Raceway since 1999, Dave Blaney remembers the track configuration and the amount of success he's had there. In two starts at the Illinois 1.23-mile track, Blaney started and finished in the top-10 both times. He has also completed all the laps possible and has an average start of 4.5 and an average finish of seven.

BLANEY ON RACING AT GATEWAY INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY:

"I'm looking forward to going back to Gateway. I haven't raced there since 1999 but I've had some success there. With this being an off weekend for the Cup series, we will be able to focus even more on the Busch effort and hopefully get our car perfect for the race. This seems like the perfect opportunity to get Toyota its first Busch Series win!"
