Scott Riggs Fast Facts
Talladega Superspeedway -- April 20, 2002

Scott Riggs on his first Busch Series Victory in Nashville last week: Riggs attributes his win to ppc Racing and the Nesquik Racing Team's dedication.

"This win was all because of the Nesquik Racing Team, they never quit," said Riggs. " When we are at the track, they are so focused on the car and where we can pick up speed that they constantly amaze me. This is just a very high caliber team. Jeff Burton said in Las Vegas that his guys are Winston Cup Quality but they want to race in the Busch Series. This team, the entire ppc Racing organization, is the epitome of that statement."

Scott Riggs On Talladega: Scott Riggs, driver of the No. 10 Nestle Nesquik Ford Taurus and Raybestos® Rookie Contender is looking forward to his first Busch Series start IN Talladega, and plans to just 'hold on'.

"Racing in Talladega will be a lot like racing in Daytona," said Riggs. "I am going to put my foot on the gas and hope my ankle doesn't get tired from holding it down. I hit the wall during practice in Daytona, so I will have to be more careful here. The guys re-built our primary back-up car-- I would hate to mess it up again."

There's no place like home for Harold Holly: Harold Holly, crew chief for the No. 10 Nesquik Ford Taurus, hails from Pell City, AL- just 5 minutes from Talladega Superspeedway. His family still lives there.

"Racing back home is always the best," said Holly. "A lot of my
accomplishments I owe to my father. He took me to the races when I was a
child, and it stuck with me. He was always the best at what ever he did,
and I wanted to be as good as him. Having him at the track makes me proud."

Equipment: The Nesquik Racing Team is taking the same car to Talladega Superspeedway that they took to Daytona this year. Riggs hit the wall during practice in Daytona, but it has since undergone a makeover. They replaced the front snout and hung a new body. The car went to the wind tunnel last week and the results were positive. This car was raced last year at Daytona (qualified 14th /finished 4th) and Talladega (qualified 12th / finished 3rd).
