FT. WORTH, Texas (April 16) -- The theme for the REESE'S Racing team this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway was teamwork, and the team concept worked when it needed it most.

With just one-fourth of the O'Reilly's 300 complete, REESE'S Racing driver Brandon Miller collided with the wall and had to take the car to the team's garage for repair. Thanks to a fantastic effort and great teamwork by the REESE'S Racing team, Miller only missed 35 laps and avoided a DNF (did not finish).

Miller finished the O'Reilly's 300 in the 36th spot and completed 160 of 200 laps. Kasey Kahne won the race and was followed by Greg Biffle, Reed Sorenson, Carl Edwards and Elliott Sadler, respectively. Miller's teammate, Clint Bowyer, finished sixth.

The unofficial standings after the race credited Miller with a 37th-place finish, but Johnny Sauter was disqualified, and Miller moved up one spot in the order.

The REESE'S Racing team is fourth in the NASCAR Busch Series Owners' Points Standings, 191 points from the top spot.

"I just really want to thank my team," Miller said. "They worked really hard to get the REESE'S Chevy back on the track. They always work really well together as a team, and I have a lot of confidence and respect for them."

Miller started 31st and was on the move to the front until he realized he had a tight handling race car. Crew chief Rick Viers told Miller to take it easy until the team had a chance to make some adjustments.

On lap 28 of 200, the REESE'S Racing team got the caution it needed. Miller brought the REESE'S Chevrolet down pit road, and the REESE'S Racing team made a series of adjustments. These adjustments seemed to help the car and allowed Miller to regain his focus on the front of the field.

The teamwork continued when Viers stepped in to help pit the REESE'S Chevy because of an injury to Tony Tolley, rear tire changer for the REESE'S team. This was Viers' first time in several years as a tire changer.

Kevin Harvick will re-assume command of the wheel when the REESE'S Racing team travels to Phoenix International Raceway for the next race scheduled for Friday, April 22. Live television coverage of the race begins at 8:30 p.m. EDT on FX. MRN will carry the live radio broadcast.
