Brad Baker will be making his second '07 Busch Series start in the #27 Cottonelle / Brookshire's Ford Fusion. Baker qualified 22nd and finished 28th at Charlotte driving the #37 Kick Butt Energy Ballz / Brewco Ford on October 12th; qualified 35th, finished 34th at Memphis driving the #27 Viva / Breast Cancer Research Foundation Ford.
On Thursday evening, November 1st, the Brewco Motorsports crews will battle the Busch teams from Ganassi Racing in the "Paintball Challenge Classic" at Gatsplat in Lewisville, Texas. The match is set from 7-11 p.m. CT with over 30 crew members participating.
Brad Baker is the 8th different driver to climb aboard the #27 Kimberly-Clark Ford Fusion this season. Ward Burton drove 16 races; Jason Keller 5; Jorge Goeters 3; Bobby East & Casey Atwood 2 each; Johnny Sauter, Robby Gordon, and Brad Baker 1 each.
Brad Baker on the O'Reilly Challenge:
"Texas Motor Speedway is a very fast, multi-groove speedway. I'll be racing for the first time in my career at Texas this weekend, and I'm looking forward to the challenge. Last week at Memphis was a frustrating weekend, but Newt (Crew Chief Moore) and the team gave me a good car and we had moved into the top twenty before I got turned. I'm excited about driving the Cottonelle / Brookshire's Ford this week, and I feel both me and this team will be up for the challenge."
