BUSCH: Tim Fedewa likes Dover Downs

* Stanley driver Tim Fedewa is quickly becoming known as a force to reckon with on the one-mile tracks. Three of Fedewa's four victories have come at mile long tracks - two at Nazareth Speedway and one at New Hampshire International Speedway. He would like to add to that statistic this weekend at the "Monster Mile."

"I really enjoy racing in Dover," Fedewa said. "It's a fast track, but it can also be a very tricky track because of the way the corners are banked. To have a good race at Dover, you really have to find the right line getting into the corners and getting through the center. It can be a touchy ride, but it's a lot of fun."

* Dover Downs International Speedway also holds a special memory for Fedewa. It's the track where he got his first Winston Cup start back in 1995. Fedewa finished the fall Winston Cup race in Dover that year in 23rd position after starting 38th.

* The No. 36 car unloaded by the Stanley team this weekend in Dover is known as "the old slider car." The 2000 Monte Carlo has had a rough life so far, said crew chief Billy Nacewicz. It's the car that was involved in several accidents earlier this year at Bristol Motor Speedway. The car's been rebuilt now, and the team is confident of a strong run in Dover.
