Todd Bodine Texas Motor Speedway NASCAR Busch Series Notes

On Texas: Todd Bodine, driver of the Phillips 66 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, will make his second NASCAR Busch Series start in the lone star state for the upcoming Coca-Cola 300 at Texas Motor Speedway. In his one start at the 1.5-mile tri-oval, Bodine posted a fourth-place finish. The track's resemblance to Bodine's favorite race track, Charlotte Motor Speedway, is just one of the reason's he enjoys racing at Texas.

"The Texas Motor Speedway is a beautiful facility and a great race track," Bodine said. "The Dallas and Fort Worth areas are beautiful and I really look forward to racing there again. I raced at Texas in the inaugural Busch race and it was a great race for us. We started 17th and finished fourth. It is a lot like Charlotte and I love racing there. Texas is one of the places we go this year where we have high expectations for a good finish for Phillips 66."

Equipment: "Angus," the car Bodine will race this weekend, makes its second appearance of the season at Texas Motor Speedway. "Angus," named after AC/DC lead guitarist Angus Young, scored a fifth-place finish at Atlanta Motor Speedway earlier this season.

"It is a great car," Bodine said of "Angus." "I raced it at Charlotte last fall and finished eighth. We finished fifth with it at Atlanta and we're expecting to do just as good with it this weekend."

"Busy Man": Phillips 66 is entertaining approximately 200 guests for this weekend's Coca-Cola 300 at Texas Motor Speedway. Bodine will visit with the hospitality guests prior to pre-race activities Saturday morning. Bodine will return to Charlotte on Sunday before he leaves for Bentonville, Ark., Monday morning to sign autographs at the grand opening of a Phillips 66 station.

Bodine Favorite: While in Texas this weekend, fans can expect Todd to enjoy his favorite dinner entree - steak.
