* The Kroger "On Track For The Cure" 250 will mark James Buescher's sixth career Nationwide Series start, all of which have come under the Braun Racing banner. Buescher's best performance so far this year came at Gateway International Raceway when he posted a seventh place finish. In six starts, Buescher has been impressive, posting one top-10 and four top-20 finishes.
* Buescher has never raced at the Memphis, TN .75-mile tri-oval but recently logged laps there during a test in his Hooter's Pro Cup car to gain experience and valuable track time for the Nationwide Series race this weekend.
* When Buescher is not competing in Nationwide Series races he keeps busy racing in three other series, the ARCA RE/MAX Series, the Hooters Pro Cup Series and the Camping World Series.
BUESCHER ON MEMPHIS MOTORSPORTS PARK
"I look forward to climbing back in the No. 32 Camry and to working with the Braun Racing team again this weekend. The only negative for me is that this is my last scheduled race with them this season. That being said, I'd like to go out there and come away with a good, strong finish for those guys. I had never been to the Memphis track until Monday when I tested there in my Hooters Cup car. I just spent as much time as I could getting accustomed to the track and learning my marks. It's a one groove racetrack so I know it's going to be tough to pass anybody. Qualifying is going to be really important here -- if you can start off with good track position you're already a step ahead. We accomplished our first goal of a top-10 finish over the summer at Gateway so our goal for the weekend is to come home with a top-five and maybe even a chance to contend for the win!"
EQUIPMENT INFORMATION
The No. 32 Camping World team will unload chassis # 28 in this weekend's Kroger On Track For The Cure 250. This is the same chassis that Buescher drove to an 18th place finish in his Nationwide Series debut in Phoenix. Denny Hamlin drove chassis No. 28 to a second place finish at New Hampshire in June.
