* Kyle Busch's Nationwide Series statistics at Richmond are nothing short of impressive. In nine career NNS starts at the three-quarter mile track, Busch has logged two wins, five top-five and six top-10 finishes. It is noteworthy that he won from the pole in his very first NNS start at RIR. He has led laps in three of the nine events for a total of 477 laps led. He has two poles to his credit and has only started outside the top-20 on one occasion.

* Busch returns to Richmond as the defending race winner of the Emerson Radio 250. One year ago, Busch ended his night in victory lane after a dominating performance in which he started from the pole and led for 227 of the 252 laps.

* This will mark Busch's eighth start of the season for Braun Racing. Busch gave the team its first win of the season when he drove the Dollar General stores Toyota Camry to victory lane at Lowe's Motor Speedway in May. Total, Busch has earned the team three of their five top-five finishes.

* In Sprint Cup competition, Busch has six top-five finishes in seven starts at Richmond. He has led laps in four of those events for a total of 292 laps led. He has an average start of 13.4 and an average finish of 5.6.

Busch on Racing at Richmond International Raceway

"Richmond is an all around awesome race track. There's a lot of beating and banging like Bristol but you carry more speed. It's constant side-by-side racing so you have to be on your toes all night. It's a lot of fun to drive from a driver's standpoint and one of the best races of the year for the fans! I have had a good amount of success at Richmond and I hope to use that to help take the Dollar General team to victory lane once again this weekend."

Equipment Information

The No. 32 Dollar General Racing team will unload chassis # 28 in the Emerson Radio 250 at Richmond international Raceway. This is the same chassis that Denny Hamlin drove to a second place finish at New Hampshire in June and James Buescher drove to an 18th place finish at Phoenix in April.
