This Week's Zaxby's Chevrolet at Texas ... Richard Childress Racing is headed to Texas Motor Speedway for this weekend's O'Reilly's 300 with Chassis No. 066. This car is a proven winner in the NNS, as Clint Bowyer made a trip to Victory Lane with this Chevrolet at Dover International Speedway last September. The last time this car was on track, John Wes Townley drove it to a career-best 15th-place finish at California Speedway in February. In addition, Jeff Burton finished third in the 2009 season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway and Casey Mears finished second at Texas Motor Speedway in November. Stephen Leicht raced this Chevy five times in 2009, finishing sixth and 11th in both Nashville Superspeedway events, eighth at The Milwaukee Mile, sixth at Gateway International Raceway and 10th at Iowa Speedway. In 2008, Bowyer drove this Chevy to a ninth-place finish at Kentucky Speedway and a seventh-place finish at Chicagoland Speedway, while Stephen Leicht drove it to an 18th-place finish at Texas in October.

Bowyer's Texas Stats ...In eight previous NNS starts at Texas, Bowyer has earned two top-five finishes and five top-10s. His best Texas finish to date of third came in April 2008.

Seven Years Ago ... Clint Bowyer made his career-first NNS start at Texas Motor Speedway on April 3, 2004. Since that time, the Emporia, Kans., native has acquired eight wins, 61 top-five finishes, 102 top-10s, seven pole awards and the 2008 NNS Driver's Championship among 157 series starts.

CLINT BOWYER QUOTES:

You're running the Nationwide Series event in addition to the Sprint Cup Series race. Does the track have major differences from Saturday to Sunday?

"Speed is more important than handling at Texas. The Nationwide cars carry a lot of speed entering the corners and the key is finding the groove where your car handles the best. That can be tricky during the Nationwide race because Texas is the type of track where additional grooves develop as the weekend progresses. On Sunday, there are more options because the track has been raced on all weekend."

You've finished in the top 10 in your last three consecutive Nationwide Series races at Texas.

"I really like Texas. It's fast, you have got to get the car rolling the centers. You can get too loose there, but I'd definitely prefer a loose car there over a tight one. I've finished as high as third but I haven't won there yet so it would be neat to get that opportunity this weekend. Those cowboy hats they give you in victory lane look pretty neat."
