SEASON STATS - Keselowski comes into the weekend ranked third in points, 289 back from leader Clint Bowyer. In 32 races so far in 2008, Keselowski and the No. 88 Navy team have scored two wins, one pole award, 10 top-fives and 18 top-10 finishes. Keselowski's average finish is 11.0 and he has led 293 laps and completed 98.4 percent of the total laps run this year.

MAKING HIS DEBUT, TAKE TWO - This weekend, Keselowski will attempt to qualify the No. 25 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports in the Dickies 500. This was supposed to be Keselowski's second attempt at making the Cup race, the first being at Lowe's Motor Speedway. However, inclement weather cancelled qualifying and the field was set by owner's points.

HOMESTEAD ADDED - Keselowski will make a second attempt at qualifying the No. 25 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports at the November 16 season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway. This date replaces the rained out attempt at Lowe's Motor Speedway.

LAST TIME AT TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY - At the April race at TMS, Keselowski qualified ninth and finished 15th. Since that race, he has an average finish of 4.8 at 1.5-mile tracks. On the season, Keselowski's average finish at 1.5-mile tracks is 8.5.

CHASSIS No. 513 - The No. 88 team will use Chassis No. 513 this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. Keselowski raced this car for the first time at Michigan International Speedway in August where he qualified 22nd and finished 11th.

HALL OF FAME DIVISIONS - At the Recruit Training Command graduation ceremony on October 17, Dale Jr.'s two divisions- 383 and 388- were honored as Hall of Fame divisions for their performance during the course of a rigorous eight-week training program.

Like a NASCAR team earns points each race weekend, each Dale Jr. Division collected the necessary points during their training weeks to earn the distinction of Hall of Fame Division. Each division received enough to carry flags in military knowledge, physical fitness, battle efficiency, academics and military drill. Only three total divisions were selected for the honor of the 12 that graduated.

"I want to congratulate all of the young men and women that make up the Dale Jr. Divisions for this accomplishment, and I hope they are just as honored to be a part of it as I am," Earnhardt, Jr. said. "I had the pleasure of visiting them twice during their training, and I can speak for how accomplished they are. I wish them all luck as they move into more prominent roles in the U.S. Navy."

FLEET HONOREE - The No. 88 Navy team's Fleet Honoree for Saturday's race is the USS CREW REAPER (MCM 6). The crew of USS DEVASTATOR (MCM 6) assumed the name of MCM Crew REAPER in August 2004, inheriting the name from the decommissioned USS REAPER (MSO 467). DEVASTATOR, with Crew REAPER embarked, was the lead ship for many of the Mine Warfare community's surface MCM prototype systems that are being fielded today, most notably the AN/SSN-2(V)5 Precision Inertial Navigation System that greatly improves the ship's ability to effectively navigate potentially mined waters. Commander Mine Countermeasures Squadron TWO selected Crew REAPER to fill a short notice requirement to deploy to the FIFTH Fleet and embark USS GLADIATOR in January 2007 after being heavy lifted from Ingleside, Texas, to her new homeport in Manama, Bahrain.

KESELOWSKI (on running at Texas Motor Speedway…) - "I'm excited to go back to Texas this weekend because I've been able to have some pretty good runs there in both the Craftsman Truck and Nationwide series that I can build on. The track kind of suits my driving style and I'm looking forward to those same good results from the Navy Chevrolet and my No. 88 team."

KESELOWSKI (on attempting to make the Cup field again…) - "I'm grateful to have the chance to try and qualify the No. 25 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet this weekend at Texas. I know there isn't anything I can do about the weather, but I'm hopeful that Mother Nature will cooperate with us this time. The track is big and fast and I just want my shot at making the field."
