Rain Forces Postponement Of Saturday's NASCAR Nationwide Series Race; Sets Up Unique Sunday Doubleheader With Sprint Cup Series
FORT WORTH, Texas (April 17, 2010) Saturday's O'Reilly Auto Parts 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race was postponed due to rain and has been rescheduled for Sunday evening, following the running of the Samsung Mobile 500 Sprint Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.
The O'Reilly Auto Parts 300 is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. CT Sunday following the conclusion of the Samsung Mobile 500, a 334-lap event that will take the green flag at 2:16 p.m. CT.
Fans holding O'Reilly Auto Parts 300 tickets will not be admitted through gates until after the checkered flag flies following the conclusion of the Samsung Mobile 500. Due to contra-flow traffic control following the Samsung Mobile 500, fans traveling to Texas Motor Speedway for the O'Reilly Auto Parts 300 will need to utilize the Dale Earnhardt Way exit off Interstate 35W. From Dale Earnhardt Way, fans will be routed to Mark Martin Drive to access parking and the infield.
The O'Reilly Auto Parts 300 will be broadcast live on ESPN2, beginning at 8 p.m CT.
