STACY COMPTON quotes
Stacy Compton will be attempting to qualify the #21 Wood Brothers/JTG Racing Ford F-150 in Daytona in February. Jon Wood's teammate in the Busch Series, Compton drives the #59 Kingsford Fusion for ST Motorsports. The truck Compton tested is slated to be driven by Bobby East in NCTS starting with the race at Atlanta.
"I was just tickled to death to have the opportunity to run the trucks again. We had a good test, and the trucks were within about a 10th of a second of each other. The teams worked together and it was fun to be in one again. I'm really looking forward to coming back down here for the race. We had some success in this series in the past (two wins, nine poles and 25 top-five finishes between 1997 and 2002), so it's great to come back for the races at Daytona and California."
