By giving back.

Four days after winning at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Logano offered his support to families and first responders in flood-ravaged South Carolina.

The 25-year-old Team Penske driver, along with Camping World Truck Series racer and Forest Acres, S.C., native Jordan Anderson, visited the state capital of Columbia on Thursday, observing neighborhoods where many families have been displaced following what meteorologists are calling a 1,000-year rain.

“It’s important that we continue to be aware of what people are going through in Columbia and throughout the state of South Carolina,” Logano said in a release. “Just because the floods have receded and the rivers have crested, doesn’t mean there still isn’t work left to be done.”

The drivers also toured the Columbia Canal — the city’s main water source — where work continues on a portion of the canal that collapsed last Wednesday.

“Many people are still in need of food and drinking water,” Logano said. “Facilities vital to the city are still in need of repair.

“That’s why Jordan and I are here. If we can bring attention to these needs, we’re happy to do it.”

Logano, who currently leads the Sprint Cup point standings, donated $50,000 to flood victims through his Joey Logano Racing Foundation. Logano will join the NASCAR tour this weekend at Kansas Speedway, the fifth race in the Chase for the Sprint Cup.
