Chad McCumbee and Green Light Make Strides Toward New Season
Familiar Team with Some New Faces Added Into the Mix

MOORESVILLE, NC (January 26, 2007) -- When the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series takes the to track at Daytona International Speedway in just a few weeks, the No. 08 theGPSstore.com Garmin machine will look very similar to how it did last year. However, there will be some small changes that have come on board this year with the team but they may not be noticed at first glace.

The biggest of those changes comes with driver Chad McCumbee teaming up with a new crew chief, Dan Glauz. Glauz will take over the race calling duties for the 2007 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season and the team got their first few practices in at recent test sessions at Daytona and at Homestead-Miami Speedway where the team put forth solid times in the top-20 each day.

"Working with Dan was great," said McCumbee. "I was really happy with the way that we communicated. Dan is a really level headed person and is really efficient with everything that he does.

"We were given a couple of difficult circumstances throughout the testing and we came out really well. I think we both handled the test good and I am really excited about him bringing a lot of knowledge and engineering that I haven't had before. I am pretty excited what '07 brings."

Glauz shares those feelings with McCumbee.

"I think from where we started to where we ended up the test was a hundred percent positive thing for us," said Glauz. "It was the first time that we worked together. Chad is very good on feedback and telling us what the truck needs. That helped me do my job as crew chief a lot better.

"I think that the success the team had last year is definitely going to help us going into this year. Chad is very good, a very good driver. He is very experienced. For the short period of time that he has been in the sport, he seems like a veteran out there."

Although the 2007 season is less than three weeks away, the excitement and momentum for the No. 08 Green Light Racing team has been building for months.

"There is a lot of momentum for this season," added McCumbee. "One thing that has helped us a lot is having theGPSstore.com and Garmin come back on board. Knowing that we are going to have another solid season with them just helps us build our program even more and keeps everybody upbeat over the off season.

"The changes that we made during the off season I think will be for a positive gain. We have some really good notes from last year and we are going to improve on that and hopefully improve those finishes and bring home our first win in the not too distance future."

The 2007 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Season will get underway on Friday February 16, 2007 at Daytona International Speedway.
