Christopher Bell established the fast pace in the opening stages of what was scheduled to be a 55-minute session with a speed of 168.647mph after four laps. Johnny Sauter was second followed by Kaz Grala, Noah Gragson, Matt Crafton, Ryan Truex, John Hunter Nemechek, Chase Briscoe, Grant Enfinger and Cody Coughlin.

Twenty-four of the 31 trucks entered Overton’s 150 completed laps during the abbreviated 25-minute final practice.

Eight-minutes into the session, troubles continued for Austin Cindric in his back-up truck. Smoke billowed into the cockpit and out of the back of the No. 19 Ford 150.

“Just as I was talking to you guys, as I was coming to pit road, I heard a big clank,” Cindric said.

The track returned to green with Bell still on top of the speed chart. Stewart Friesen jumped into the top-five speeds with a lap of 167.414mph. Haley, who led first practice, was seventh with Truex, John Hunter Nemechek and Briscoe rounding out the top 10 at the 15-minute mark.

The second caution was called 25-minutes into the session for precipitation in the Tunnel Turn. Nemechek stalled coming into Turn 3 and had to be pushed to the pits as NASCAR displayed the red flag.

Bell remained fastest after six laps. Kyle Busch (168.486mph) jumped up to second after a four-lap run. Sauter, Grala, Gragson, Friesen, Haley, Crafton, Truex and Briscoe completed top 10 ten fastest trucks before NASCAR announced practice had concluded 25-minutes later.
