Sparta, KY - Dennis Setzer may have been a little lucky Saturday night during the running of the Kroger 225 at the Kentucky Speedway, missing accidents that unfolded in front of his #46 ACXIOM/Computer Associates Chevrolet. But for every bit he was lucky, he was just as good.

Like many jockeys in the bluegrass state before him, Setzer got every inch (and then some) out of his ride tonight. Setzer's last lap pass enabled him to score the third top-five finish for the ACXIOM/Computer Associates team in the past four races.

The weekend started a little slow for the team as they rolled off the truck into the first practice session. The team found themselves scratching their heads as they sat 22nd overall well into that session. However, they were able to recover and posted a 10th place qualifying position for the race.

"We did not unload as well as we expected to," said Setzer. "We brought the same truck we sat on the pole with in Kansas and kept close to the same setup. We rebounded a bit in qualifying and ended up starting in the top-10."

When the green flag fell, the fun began for Setzer and the #46 Morgan-Dollar Motorsports team. The truck was under power with an ignition problem early in the race, and Setzer was unable to make one of his patented moves to the front. The team held their position until late in the race when an untimely caution flag put them one lap down.

The team got back on the lead lap after a quick caution flag and looked to log another top-10 with just five laps to go. But yet another close call for the team turned into a blessing in disguise. A lapped truck dove to the inside of Setzer and spun, bringing out the final caution of the race. Crew Chief, Danny Gill, made the call to pit for fresh right side rubber dropping Setzer to ninth. The stop enabled Setzer to use all the truck had to gain four positions, finishing in fifth place.

"That was a pretty exciting race - standard Craftsman Truck Series Racing," Setzer said. "Very tight all the way to the end. We'd been eighth to fifth all night and come up with a fifth place finish. This just keeps the deal going for Morgan/Dollar Motorsports, Chevrolet and Acxiom, were pretty excited about it."

This finish enabled the team to move into eighth overall in the 2001 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series standings. After a rough start to the season, the Morgan-Dollar Motorsports team has shown consistency and perseverance in turning their season around.

Next week Setzer and the #46 Acxiom/Computer Associates Chevrolet head to the New Hampshire International Speedway for the New England 200. Green Flag coverage starts on ESPN at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 21.
