A road racing specialist, Tagliani will be driving the No. 02 Spectra Premium Chevrolet Silverado for Young's Motorsports.

The Canadian racer will make his return to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park’s 2.459-mile, 10-turn road course after competing in back-to-back races in 2014 and 2015 driving for Brad Keselowski Racing.

“Tag” has captured three consecutive pole in the Truck Series at CTMP and his best finish is a fifth place he claimed in 2015.

Young's Motorsports team principal, Tyler Young was originally scheduled to drive the team's No. 02 Silverado this weekend, but he choose to let Tagliani, who knows CTMP like the palm of his hand, drive the truck.

"This is a great opportunity and I'm thankful to Young's Motorsports for the chance to race in my home country of Canada," Tagliani declared. "With the support of Spectra Premium, I hope we can have a successful weekend where we practice well, qualify strong and contend for the win.

"It will feel great to get back to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park for the first time in two years driving a truck and I can't thank Spectra Premium enough for helping make this opportunity possible."

Tagliani will also be joined by three other Pinty’s Series' competitors (Jason Hathaway, D.J. Kennington and Gary Klutt) in the truck race giving the NASCAR national series the most Canadians in the field in the history of the race first ran at CTMP in 2013.

Tagliani will be a busy man this weekend, as he will also compete in the NASCAR Pinty's Series and the Canadian Touring Car Championship (CTCC).
