COLIN BRAUN RENEWS DRIVING SKILLS FOR LIFE PARTNERSHIP FOR 2010, ADDS DSFL LOGO TO CAR, FIRE SUIT

DEARBORN, Mich. March 17, 2010-- Colin Braun, 21-year old NASCAR Nationwide Series driver, will be adding a familiar logo onto his No. 16 Con-way Freight Ford Fusion and fire suit this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway.

As part of the partnership between Ford Driving Skills For Life (DSFL) and Colin Braun, the Ford DSFL logo will appear on Braun's uniform and the No. 16 Con-way Freight Ford for the remainder of the 2010 season. Braun is now in his second year as national spokesperson for Ford DSFL, promoting the importance of safe driving to teens around the country.

"We are very thankful that Con-way Freight donated the space on the No.16 to Ford Driving Skills for Life," said Jim Graham, Community Relations Manager of Ford Motor Company Fund. "Colin has been such an invaluable part of the Ford DSFL team with his ability to connect with teen drivers. We are happy to have him with us again this season to promote the message of safe driving to teens around the country."

Braun enters his first full year driving the No. 16 Con-way Freight Ford Fusion for Roush Fenway Racing in the Nationwide Series, after two years in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competing in a F-150. As a professional race car driver, Braun knows the importance of safe driving on and off the track.

"I am proud to be a part of the Driving Skills for Life program again in 2010 and I'm excited to promote that involvement on both my uniform and the No. 16 Con-way Freight Ford Fusion at Bristol Motor Speedway this weekend and through the rest of the season," said Braun. "The DSFL program is a great opportunity for teens to learn the skills they need to be safe drivers and I'm grateful for the chance I have to help out with that."

Mile for mile, teenagers are involved in three times as many fatal crashes as all other drivers. Through DSFL, teens are able to improve their skills in four key areas that are critical factors in more than 60 percent of teen vehicle crashes: Hazard Recognition, Vehicle Handling, Space Management, and Speed Management.

The national award winning DSFL program is collaborative effort between Ford Motor Company Fund - the automotive company's philanthropic arm - and the Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA). The program strives to lower the number of teen automobile crash fatalities and helps newly licensed drivers develop skills beyond what they learn in driver education programs. It is one of the most comprehensive teen driver safety programs in the nation.
