Darnell, sponsor to run full season in 2009

Darnell and Northern Tool + Equipment Moving to Nationwide Series with Roush Fenway Racing

CONCORD, N.C. (October 24, 2008) -- Roush Fenway Racing driver Erik Darnell and his Craftsman Truck Series sponsor Northern Tool + Equipment will continue their partnership next season in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. The 2009 season will be Northern Tool + Equipment's fourth year with Darnell and Roush Fenway Racing.

"I'm really happy to be continuing the next stage of my racing career with Northern Tool + Equipment. Our partnership over the past few years has been tremendous on and off the track. The support they have given me has certainly made my job on the race track a lot easier. Representing a company that connects with the NASCAR fan base is something I truly value," said Darnell.

Darnell and Northern Tool will share the No. 6 Ford Fusion with David Ragan and Discount Tire Company during the 2009 Nationwide season. The team's full schedule will be announced at a later date.
