Fresh off his second top-20 run of the season, Jeffrey Earnhardt will roll into Richmond International Raceway with new sponsorship for the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller No. 4 Chevrolet.

Perdue Foods, which also had a strong sponsorship relationship with Dale Earnhardt Sr., Jeffrey’s championship grandfather, will be the primary sponsor for his Chevrolet at RIR.

Earnhardt, in his first full season in the Nationwide Series, will drive the No. 4 car in Friday’s ToyotaCare 250. He finished 20th two weeks ago at Darlington Raceway.

“Richmond is the type of track – fast and wide – that I like,” Earnhardt said. “We expect to have a good car there, and it’s great to have the Perdue folks on board with us. It should be a big Friday night.”

Earnhardt is 17th in Nationwide driver points entering the race.

The Richmond Nationwide schedule begins Thursday with practice rounds at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Qualifying is set for 3:10 p.m. Friday, with the race to follow at 7 p.m.
