"I'm excited to be with SR² Motorsports," White said. "The commitment they've shown to improve and build upon is impressive. They exceeded expectations in their first season and we look forward to raising the bar this season. There's lots of potential and promise as we head into 2013."

SR² Motorsports made several advancements during the off-season which have it ready to continue the momentum of its inaugural season into 2013. These changes include promoting Benny Gordon to team general manager and lead crew chief, acquiring the assets of McDonald Motorsports and re-signing Blake Koch. Adding Jason White to the roster gives additional leadership and experience to the team, which has team owner Jason Sciavicco excited about the year ahead.

"I'm thrilled with the addition of Jason White to SR² Motorsports," said Sciaviccio. "He brings a lot to the table in terms of talent and abilities. His experience and determination will certainly be assets to our team as we continue to grow and mature as a team. He has proven to be a tremendous competitor and we look forward to working with him in 2013."

White made his first Nationwide Series start in 2001. Since then, he has competed in 40 events over the course of seven seasons. He began driving fulltime in the Camping World Truck Series in 2008. Since then, he has scored nine top-fives, 21 top-10s and one pole. His best finish in the championship standings is 10th, which he achieved in 2010.
